Aside from the daily teachings of the University, the faculties also applied funds on relevant research projects from the National Science Council, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, etc.

In order to elevate the academic standard of crime prevention and correction and reconcile different social resources, the Department, together with other social welfare organizations, have initiate various crime-related academic conferences.

Besides publishing relative dissertations on various occasions, faculties of this Department also devoted themselves on writing books regarding matters of crime prevention and correction.

Furthermore, the Department has dedicated itself on social works, i.e. provides lectures for different levels of schools’ seminars, strengthen the cultivation of counseling and guidance techniques among crime prevention and correction and deviated behavior-related teachers. However, due to the length of this brief introduction, it is not possible to list a detailed summary for each and every one of the above-mentioned lectures.
